Alex and Aimée celebrated their marriage on Saturday at the ever lovely Roman Lakes in Marple, just outside of Stockport. The sun shone, the geese honked, and the bright florals set everything off beautifully. It’s been wonderful getting to know Alex and Aimée throughout this process - they were a significant part of a wedding I photographed two years ago, and since then they’ve welcomed their little girl into the world and just been thoroughly epic people.

Roman Lakes is a fab venue for anyone who loves the great outdoors. It’s a park, tea room and brilliant place to explore a wild landscape that feels more remote than it really is. Geese and ducks meander around without a care in the world during every part of the day. When the weather’s good you’ll want to spend all day outside, including your ceremony. Rachel and her team take excellent care of couples and their guests. They really know what they’re doing, and they do it well.
