Video just hits different.
Wedding highlights films are not what you'd get from a proper videographer. They're rough and ready, shot from within the action - just like your wedding photos. All by me, by hand, so you might get one or two moments of wobble.
You won't know when I'm toggling between video and photo mode, so all those natural moments can just flow. Yep. You can keep having fun on your wedding day, and not have to hire a whole crew of videographers to capture it in two ways.
Most of the time I make videos without sound recording. If you’d like to have the sound recorded for your ceremony and speeches, we can discuss that.

All About Wedding Highlights Films
I make them together with your photos.
Basically, I do both at the same time. I toggle between photo and video all day, so you’ve got no clue what craftiness is going on in my camera. To make sure everything is properly captured, I’ll need to bring a second shooter along with me. Filming + second togs are included in the top package.
They’re short and snappy - and crammed to the rafters with awesome details.
The more stuff going on in the day, the more stuff you’ll have in your video. Regardless, they usually clock in at 3-5 minutes. I prefer quick cuts and lots of movement to static, romantic snoozefests, and will capture a range of things to showcase the best bits of your day in all its glory.
Sound schmound.
I don’t record sound because, as a photographer, I’m all set for eye stuff rather than ear stuff. The songs I use are licensed from MusicBed, which means a real musician gets a real pay cheque each time someone like me buys the rights to use their work in my work - pretty nifty eh? It’s by far the most straightforward way to make these things, because people like Bono and Gary off of Take That don’t tend to answer their emails to see if I can use their songs.
Please note, the package price for video does not include sound in the speeches or ceremony recordings. I do offer this service, but most folks are happy with a standard highlights film. Please let me know if you’d like to have sound added on.
