Caitlin and Kiran’s Peckforton Castle Wedding

Caitlin and Kiran don’t do things by halves. After meeting at university, their relationship underwent a certain kind of stress, but they stuck together, supporting each other to pursue their goals. First they were together, then there was some distance, then yet more distance when they were separated by the Atlantic, then living with Kiran’s parents during the pandemic, then finally, alone together.

As you can see, they also don’t do confetti by halves.

So it made complete sense that when it came to their wedding, they did it three times. It’s wonderful to witness the beginning of a marriage that truly feels like two families coming together, not just for a day, but forever. Caitlin and Kiran officially tied the knot at a registry office with just their parents, and the photos you’re about to see are from stages two and three. First up are some photos from a Hindu blessing carried out by Kiran’s absolutely lovely auntie at his family home near Liverpool. Then follows part three - a mad, raucous, beautiful celebration at the ever stunning Peckforton Castle in Cheshire. Friends and family came from all over the world, representing Toronto, Singapore, and, um, Wales. So many details were collaborative or home spun in some way, and walking between all the guests on the day you just got the sense that every single person there was genuinely happy for Caitlin and Kiran.
