Hey I’m Caroline

I live in Chester with my husband, our two kids and a few too many animals. I’ve photographed over 200 weddings all over the UK, many of them in and around Cheshire. From cosy pub weddings at the Cock o Barton, to grand days at the Old Palace, and festival style days at Duddon Mill Farm, there’s so much to see on my doorstep.

Cheshire’s the home we chose. In 2021 we upped sticks and moved 80 miles to be closer to family, friends, and that beautiful coastline in North Wales. In the last five years I’ve found my feet here, explored Liverpool and fallen in love with the grit of Manchester and the compact walkability of Chester.

Below you’ll find blog posts that show sneak peek galleries from weddings around Cheshire, Shropshire and Manchester. The general rule was ‘within an hour of my house’ when I was selecting these. Further down the page there’s info about pricing, and some things past couples have said.

Caroline was everything you’d hope for in a photographer. She blended into the atmosphere so naturally, capturing the energy, emotion, and little in‑between moments that made the day feel so special.

Caroline was fun, easygoing, and completely up for following our lead — including the now‑legendary double‑bath photo, which has become one of our favourite memories. She brought creativity, warmth, and professionalism to every moment.

We couldn’t recommend her more highly. If you want someone who captures the heart of your day while making the whole experience feel effortless, Caroline is the one

For folks who don’t want to pose too much

I take group photos, and I’ll take some fun couple photos too. But to me, they’re a sidenote to the main part of your day. The bit where all your favourite people get together in one place to celebrate with you - that’s the real stuff I’m interested in. Weddings are special, and the joy of all these people together doesn’t need any direction or coordination to create images that make you feel something when you look back at them.

So I focus on the people. All of them. All day. Holding hands, being silly, enjoying themselves, having real emotions. And at no point will I tell them to move into better light or repeat something because I missed it.

You get photos full of feeling, that might make you laugh or cry or maybe even both at the same time. Many couples I work with do want group photos and couple photos, but that’s just a small part of their day.

Me & my husband are pretty camera shy and don’t like posed photos; Caroline got this immediately and captured the most perfect candid moments and memories from the day. She is like a ninja behind the camera and made all our guests feel comfortable and at ease!
