A Black Tie Wedding At Hallé St Peters

I wasn’t expecting to take these photos or be writing this blog post to share these pictures with you, but I’m so happy to be doing so! On December 30th an emergency message went out from Hollie and Patrick, the photographers who mentored me in 2025, asking for someone to step in last minute as a second shooter. Not one to pass up such a fantastic opportunity, I leapt at it. A fancy black tie wedding on New Years Eve in a music practice space sounded like a great alternative to Jools’ Hootenanny.

I joined Patrick for 8 hours at Sinead and Ben’s wedding in Manchester, and thought I’d share the photos here for anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding at Hallé St Peters.

A Hallé St Peters Wedding Ceremony

The following day I was trekking through Manchester’s Northern Quarter to meet Ben as he got ready to marry Sinead at Hallé St Peters in Ancoats. It was freezing cold outside, and seeing so many people wearing their finest and ready to party was just gorgeous. I love it when the guests bring the vibe!

It was my first time working at this venue, and I fell in love with it the moment I walked through the door. Part restored church, part practice space, Halle St Peters has tons of character and is so well suited to hosting big group celebrations. The ceremony space was tasteful, and there was loads of room for Patrick and I to move about and take photos. Confetti was thrown outside before everyone was taken up to the Victoria Wood Hall for drinks and nibbles.

Wedding Reception at Nell’s Pizza Restaurant

Because who doesn’t want to get stuck into a 22 inch pepperoni feast after a day of champagne? I literally can’t think of a better way to see the New Year in.
