A Microwedding at Ruthin Castle - Ruthin Castle WEdding Photography
A small, beautiful ceremony
Meg and Paul got married at Ruthin Castle in early March, in a small ceremony with their immediate families. They used the Cornwallis room at Ruthin, which was lovely and cosy, but well-lit from the large bay windows looking out over the 13th century castle. This gorgeous part of North Wales, with the Clwydian range of peaks nearby, is a hidden gem. Meg and Paul wanted to celebrate in a place they loved, that meant something to them, and this fit the bill perfectly. At the end of the ceremony, Meg’s sister sang a couple of songs while Meg and Paul signed the register. Her version of Blackbird brought everyone to tears, including this soppy photographer!
I stayed with the wedding party for a couple of hours - enough time to get plenty of gorgeous documentary moments, some couple and group photos, as well as their ceremony.
