Wedding photography in 2024 - my best/favourite photos
I’m writing this in the last week of January, 2025. There’s one more wedding from 2024 for me to edit, and I think that by February I’ll be done, and itching to get started shooting this year’s weddings. Gathering the photos from the past 12 months is always a tricky thing for me to do, and in fact I didn’t do it at all for the weddings I shot in 2023. Being a wedding photographer is such a part of me, that sometimes when I look back at photos I’ll be transported back to how I felt, what was going on in my personal life, who I was, on the days I took them. 2024 was a happy year for me. One that involved a lot of personal travel and new connections, and I really think it’s reflected in the photos I took.
I’m going to go deeper into my 2024 wedding photography season further down the page, but if you want to look through my favourite wedding photos, they’re right here.

Stupid Things I Did In 2024
This is boring so I’ll keep it brief.
In February 2024 I shot a wedding at The Lantern Theatre and the Mowbray in Sheffield. I was using a Sony camera system, and I got incredible results. In March 2024 I traded my entire kit in for a Fujifilm system, and shot quite a lot of photos on it before going ‘nah, this isn’t the one’, and I traded the entire system in once more to switch to Nikon. (ZF if you’re interested. It’s gorgeous).
Life is better now. Yours possibly is worse, for having read that.
