Tabitha and Jake got married in a super sweet celebrant-led ceremony by Connie of Wit and Wonder Ceremonies, at Chadkirk Chapel just outside of Stockport last weekend. Connie’s ceremony took in Tabitha and Jake’s history together, from a chance meeting to travelling between Sheffield and Manchester during the early part of their relationship, moving in together during Covid, and finally to buying their first home. The humour and joy during the ceremony set the tone perfectly for the rest of the day, with the guests fully enjoying themselves and taking part in the spirit of the wedding.

The guests moved on to the reception at White Bottom Farm at Romiley, while I stayed at Chadkirk Chapel to get some couple photos with Tabitha and Jake. As always, I focused on making them feel relaxed while bringing out their natural connection with each other. Portraits like this are never overly posed, as I tend just to give a couple some ideas, and photograph them in a planned candid kind of way. After a short while we popped along to White Bottom Farm and headed straight into a confetti tunnel.

The rest of the day flowed beautifully from speeches to a brass band, dancing, cake eating and more dancing. Here are some of the photos I took of the day.
