Chelsea Town Hall Wedding with Ellie and Joe
On Saturday I popped down to London for Ellie and Joe’s wedding at Chelsea Town Hall. It was a small ceremony with only close family, though plenty of friends were waiting on the town hall steps with fistfuls of confetti. The ceremony was late in the day, and with December light posing a challenge, Ellie and Joe agreed it was a good idea to head to their ceremony together so I could capture a few candid shots along the way.
After the ceremony we walked through Chelsea towards their reception - held at The Surprise, a proper London pub. More friends were waiting there, and it was such a treat to see people making merry with Christmas going on around them. E+J don’t live in the UK full time anymore, so plenty of warm embraces happened as old friends and family were reunited. It was a perfect small(ish) celebration with people they clearly adore.
