January + February 2022

In which I shoot two weddings, sustain a wrist injury, and Get Incredibly Soggy in the Peak District.

It’s fair to say that 2022 started with a bang. After a few weeks off to enjoy Christmas with my family, I jumped right back in to a wedding in the first week of January. It was at the gorgeous Hurt Arms pub in Ambergate, Derbyshire, with the lovely Poppy and Will. A month later I was back in the East Midlands for Danielle and Daniel’s wedding at Norwood Park, followed by the wettest day on record* shooting 4 couples in the Peak District. It was so wet my coat was still dripping the following day!

*my personal record. It was hella wet.

In between the weddings I had a tremendously fun couple of weeks (sarcasm) which involved seeing a cyclist slip off her bike on black ice, then getting out help her and falling over myself and doing something weird to my wrist. Happily, I thought, I can still hold a camera. Only to find I’d got a good ol’ dose of the ‘Rona just a few days later. What a fun month!

And finally…Four very soggy but lovely preshoots
