Lillie’s Newborn Photos

I’m not going to lie - I was terrified of going into family homes again to shoot newborns. The what-if’s don’t bear thinking about! However, go into a family home I did, and it was absolutely wonderful.

Georgina + Jamie are the loveliest new parents. They’re so doting and attentive to Lillie, but also relaxed about most things, which is kind of the holy grail when you’ve just had your first baby. Maybe it’s because they’re both teachers? Who knows. But they’re doing brilliantly.

Lillie was an absolute joy to photograph. The two hour shoot just flew by! As usual, I did practically no posing save for some gentle direction to make sure the light was just right for them. I just love the photos from this shoot, they’re some of my favourite newborn shots ever!
