Wyresdale Park Wedding - Tamsin and Charlie
wyresdale Park is truly a unique place. It’s a rural estate with a lake, loads of little business right there, a glamping site and an absolutely beautiful wedding venue.
Wyresdale Park is a wedding venue that’s hard not to fall in love with. It has a little village feel, with a bunch of boutique businesses on site, and even a lake. In fact, there’s so much scope for making the wedding day really fun that you might just want to spend the whole weekend there to make sure you’ve tried everything out! Everything about the place seems geared towards creating an enjoyable, stress-free wedding day, with loads of parking available and an on the day wedding coordinator to take care of you.
Once you start exploring you realise that Wyresdale is absolutely huge, both in terms of the size of the estate and what you get included for use in the dedicated wedding space. The wedding barns include the Ceremony Barn, The White Barn where you eat your meal, and a party barn for, well, partying.

Tamsin and Charlie’s Wyresdale Wedding
Tamsin and Charlie chose Wyresdale Park for all the above reasons, and the fact that it’s really close to Charlie’s childhood home in Lancashire. The opportunity to stay on site was super convenient for Tamsin’s friends and family, who’d come from literally all over the world to be at the wedding. Their day started with Tamsin getting ready at Wyresdale Park in Keeper’s Cottage, which sleeps 6 and has all the amenities you’d want at home. The bridesmaids had great fun the night before the wedding making their own bouquets from buckets full of gorgeous wildflowers provided by Roses by the Brook, and Loft Beauty sorted hair and make up on the day. I loved all the bridesmaids’ mismatched green dresses - they look stunning!
The Ceremony Barn was simply decorated with extra flowers, and Tamsin and Charlie opted to have a live musician to play throughout their wedding ceremony. It’s a light space, so I was able to get great reactions of their family and friends throughout. A quick confetti throw and the couple exited onto the lawns for a full on sports day, followed by a gorgeous meal of sharing platters and heartfelt speeches. In between courses, I took them out for a quick round of photos because it was golden hour, which is just an irresistible kind of light for photographers. Having the photos at this time of day, with the Lancashire hills just behind us, was spectacular. The golden light wrapped beautifully around them and really fit their joyous wedding. After that it was a few more speeches from bridesmaids and groomsmen, and then the dancing started!
