Bridie and Marcus. What can I say? I’m sat at my desk less than 10 hours after their wedding ended, with my heart full of joy at the day that’s just happened. No one has ever had a wedding quite like theirs, and I was the incredibly lucky photographer tasked with documenting the occasion. My brain’s currently too scrambled to find the appropriate words to encapsulate the love and fun of the day, so I’ll stick to the pictures for now.

A quick run-through

Bridie got ready with her mum, sister and best mate at a flat in Kelham Island, then walked down to Yellow Arch Studios to meet Marcus. They entered their ceremony together, for which the aforementioned best mate, Kitty, acted as celebrant. Two readings from other friends, and lots of emotion later, it was time to celebrate their union with a lot of laughter and espresso martinis. Guests helped themselves to crisps instead of canapés, and some custom temporary tattoos. I was particularly fond of the tattoo of their Japanese Spitz, Fet, who is the extremely fluffy dog you’ll see in the photos. Then on to dinner, and speeches, then a quick outfit change and back for a proper party. So without further ado…
