Laura and Aaron’s cheshire woodland wedding

Laura and Aaron have been together for eleven years - they got married a day before their 11th anniversary! They’ve reached that deep understanding, total support stage of their relationship, and they just fit together so wonderfully. They’re the sort of couple who solve everything with humour, who are prone to breaking out in a dance at a moment’s notice and spent a good portion of their couples photo session vogueing while standing on top of old wire drums in the woods. I loved them! They had an outdoor ceremony in rural Cheshire, with the sun beating down on them through the trees. It was a gorgeous day with their nearest and dearest - and plenty of laughter.

Cheshire Woodland Weddings is part of an activitiy centre called Cheshire Outdoors, so the guests were entertained by two sea eagles, archery, crazy golf, rifling, garden games and segways. When we were out in the woods doing their couple portraits a group of Laura and Aaron’s friends ambled past on segways, which had us all laughing our heads off.

After a couple of hours of outdoor mingling and fun (plus a few cheeky shots for those so inclined), we popped in for their meal and speeches. Laura’s dad said a few quick words, swiftly followed by a lovely speech from Aaron and a rather long, absolutely hilarious chat from from best man, Tom. Shortly after that they cut their cheese cake and went straight into their first dance - a couple of Arctic Monkeys bangers, and everyone joined them on the dance floor.

It was a gorgeous day and I’m so glad they finally got the wedding they’ve been planning for years - and with no restrictions! Congrats, Aaron and Laura, you deserve it!
