Relax.

Nearly every couple I work with tells me they’re nervous in front of the camera. I totally get it and I can really empathise. I’ve got loads of experience working with people who feel this way, and I’m sensitive to the nervousness so many people associate with having their photos taken. And I get that for many, standing in front of everyone you hold dear and saying vows can add to that feeling. I’m here to say it’s all fine, better than fine, in fact.

There is an alternative way to photograph your wedding. Let me explain.

I’m not the kind of photographer who’ll make you spend your wedding day posing for hours or lining up everyone you’ve ever met for group photos. I think couple and group photos are important if they’re important to you, but as a documentary style photographer, my focus is on the whole day.

I photograph weddings in the moment, without direction or repetition, and as little intrusion from me as possible. I draw the line at hiding in the bushes like a weirdo, but I’m there to capture the look and feel of it, not turn it into a photoshoot.

Hey I’m Caroline

When I’m not photographing or videoing weddings, I like to hike in North Wales, lift heavy stuff, browse Vinted for hours on end, watch Taskmaster with my kids, eat tacos, and hang out with my dog.

I live in Chester and I shoot weddings all over the UK, from Kent to Clitheroe. I have a special love for back gardens, woodlands and unusual settings like theatres and warehouses.

My style is laid-back and candid, so I blend in with your day and I’m always ready to capture the action. I make photos and videos that tell the story of your wedding day.
