Portraits
Couple photos and group shots
Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. Some come with a lot of time allocated for couple photos - some have a question mark in their timeline where they could go if the light is nice.
Same with groups. Sometimes I have a list, and sometimes I don’t.
Whether couples have these photos is up to them, and for me they’re not the main point of me being there. They’re nice to have though.
The main focus
If you’re this far into looking at my work, you probably value candid moments over anything staged. These group and couple photos might not be my main focus, because there’s always something more emotive or visually appealing going on elsewhere, but there’s a big however.
Group photos become more valuable over time. And my ethos for couple photos is to have a few quiet/silly/adventurous moments together, because this day is full of other people.
